New Starwood 'Four Points by Sheraton Sydney' hotel to open 2018
By David Flynn, June 15 2016
IN BRIEF | Sydney's Four Points by Sheraton hotel may be disappearing from Darling Harbour but the brand will resurface in the $2 billion Central Park development in 2018.
Designed by famed London-based architects Foster + Partners, the 4.5-star hotel will feature 297 rooms ranging from compact spaces to sprawling top-floor suites.
The location is on the edge of the CBD rather smack in the middle of the city, but Starwood will spruik the Four Points by Sheraton for its proximity to the new convention centre.
The current Four Points by Sheraton Sydney, which sits on the edge of Darling Harbour and Chinatown, will this year become the Hyatt Regency Sydney.

It's like a magic trick - they dissapear over there and then appear over there.
I'm sure they'll do well.

Central Park is, I'd say, probably a better location access-wise than Darling Harbour, and would give Starwood a killer location to rival Accor's Mercure at Railway Square.
I like this.

Less than 10 mins walk to Central and located near three universities, I am sure they will do fine. Love the artists impression.
