British Airways reveals refreshed Milan lounge
BA's lounge at Milan's Linate Airport is the latest to receive an upgrade, and is now open to all eligible BA and Oneworld flyers.
Milan's Linate Airport is the latest to host an updated British Airways lounge as the Oneworld member continues rolling out a £6.5bn investment plan that's already seen new business class seats and inflight dining, as well as more WiFi so that business travellers can stay connected above the clouds.
The airport itself has just re-opened, following three months of upgrading work on the terminal and runways, and will be embraced by Milan's blue M4 metro line when that line opens over the next few years. But for now, the best pit stop for passengers will be the preflight one at BA's refreshed lounge.
Bespoke lighting by UK-based Tyson and British-made Boss armchairs give the space a sharp new look, but this 'best of British' approach sits comfortably with the, high-quality Italian finishes such as Carrara marble and terrazzo stone flooring.
Strategically-located 'hub' tables sport AC and USB power outlets so that your tech can recharge while you relax, while a revamp of the dining options sees hot dishes added to the buffet selection.
"We know the difference our lounges make to our customers, be they travelling on business or for pleasure," explains Carolina Martinoli, British Airways’ Director of Brand and Customer Experience, "so we have ensured that the upgraded lounge in Linate is a calm, comfortable and attractive space where they can make use of the WiFi and enjoy complementary catering to get their journey off to the best start."
BA's Linate lounge is open to the airline's first and business class passengers, along with Silver and Gold members of the BA Executive Club frequent flyer program and Oneworld Sapphire and Emerald equivalents (such as Qantas Gold and Platinum).

I was there in March this year and the pictures actually look like just some new seats, arranged a little differently. I guess you could call it a refresh, but then I'd say it's a slow news day lol
