Qatar Airways is powering ahead with the rebuild of its global lounge network, with its Premium Lounge at Paris’ Charles de Gaulle Airport the latest to again welcome business and first class passengers, as well as eligible guests flying Oneworld partners.

Spanning more than 1,000 sqm on level 11 of Terminal 1, the Arabic-influenced haven boasts two dining options – The Brasserie and The Global Deli, shower facilities and a business centre, along with two roof terraces with views as far as the Eiffel Tower.

Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker, says the newly-restored hangout “illustrates our focus on continuous product enhancements,” while noting it’s the Gulf carrier’s fifth international lounge now open for business.

Featuring multiple zones tailored for privacy and socialisastion, the 200-seater lounge includes a fully-stocked bar and barista station alongside booth seating and lounges...

...as well as a relaxation zone offering seats for solos and grounds around a central water feature, in addition to private nooks.

Naturally, power outlets are provided and high-speed wireless internet also beamed throughout, allowing travellers to do a little work, browse their social feeds, or maybe catch up the next episode of Yellowstone.

Paris-Charles de Gaulle follows the November relaunch of the airline’s excellent Premium Lounge at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport, in addition to the September debut of a new frequent flyer lounge at London Heathrow.

The refreshed T1 is very much looking like the place to be.

I thought it was supposed to be more of the "Star Allaince" terminal, but I see Cathay are listed there as well.
