SO Sofitel Auckland hotel unveils new Club Signature lounge

Auckland's SO Sofitel hotel is now welcoming eligible hotel guests – including Platinum members of the Le Club (soon to be ALL) loyalty scheme – into its exclusive new Club Signature lounge.

Located on the second floor of the property with its own bar and balcony, Club Signature promises to be a "tranquil and relaxing retreat" offering guests breakfast, afternoon tea, evening canapés, and refreshments all-day long.

The design of the space draws its inspiration from the city's volcanic landscape, reinforced by bold colours in the furniture design.

“It is a space like no other in Auckland, both exclusive and welcoming," explains WORLD design director Benny Castles, who contributed to the project.

The lounge has been infused with "a little colour and curiousness, just in case you need distracting from work or company with your cocktail.”

Castles describes this outdoor deck as “providing guests with a fresh urban viewpoint.”

The lounge is reserved exclusively for guests staying in SO Club and SO Suite rooms at the hotel, as well as Le Club AccorHotels Platinum cardholders staying in any room type.

The lounge's outdoor deck will hold plenty of appeal, both day and night.

Located in the heart of the city and occupying the former Reserve Bank site, Sofitel's SO Auckland opened in November 2018. The 130 guestrooms come in a choice of SO Cozy, SO Comfy, SO Club and SO Suite flavours, ranging from 32 to 44 sqm in size.

Hotels guests also have access to a heated indoor swimming pool and a fitness centre, which is situated in the old bank vault.
