Now open: the waterfront Sebel Melbourne Docklands apartment hotel
The Sebel Melbourne Docklands has opened its doors this month, offering 124 self-contained one and two bedroom apartments for visitors to the Docklands area.
Situated in Melbourne’s NewQuay Docklands waterfront precinct, the hotel is close to a selection of restaurants, cafes and bars, with ample chance for retail therapy at the nearby retail and factory outlets.
In 2015, the property will be joined by the competing five-star Peppers Docklands Melbourne, which is set to be roughly half the size of the Sebel.
Most of the hotel’s apartments feature a private balcony – which would be especially relaxing on the Victoria Harbour side of the property.
Guests will also feel at home with a kitchen, laundry facilities and separate bedroom and living areas.
In addition to this, the property also features a fully equipped gymnasium, 25 metre indoor heated pool, spa and sauna, a business centre with boardroom and a rooftop garden.
With a private lounge, cinema, library, reading room and a private dining room with a kitchen and bar, The Guest Lounge provides another opportunity to unwind.

Good! An extra Melbournian choice to spend the nights.

This is my preferred hotel when I'm in Melbourne. Well laided out rooms, good sized bathrooms and fully equipped kitchens. Lounge is big enough to relax in, hotel well positioned on the water and close to where tram line ends. Also conveniently close to Skybus terminal for airport transport. Well equiped gym with nice indoor pool/spa. I'm heading back there over Xmas.
