Ritz-Carlton will put Australia back on its luxury travel map with a new luxury hotel perched on the Perth waterfront at Elizabeth Quay.
Set to open in 2018, the 204-room property will be built alongside a residential complex of 420 one, two and three-bedroom apartments.
This will be the first all-new Ritz-Carlton hotel in Australia and is part of a major investment in the Elizabeth Quay precinct, adjacent to the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre and with 1.5kms of continuous promenades fronting the Swan River.
Close by, business and leisure travellers alike can relax in Kings Park or the Botanical Garden, while the Perth Bell Tower is within easy reach.
With ground floor retail space, waterfront fine dining experiences and luxury one, two and three bedroom apartments, the hotel will bring a much needed boost to the Perth’s room tally, which often sees the city strained for available hotel rooms.
WA Premier Colin Barnett welcomed Ritz-Carlton's choice of Perth for its return to Australia, saying "The absolute central feature of the Elizabeth Quay development is a world-class hotel development."

Great to get some more globally recognised hotel brands in Perth, Westin are also developing a hotel in the Perth CBD which will open around the same time as this proposal. Perth is finally coming of age!
