Travelling with the family over the Christmas period or run-up to New Year, and fancy a relaxing stay in the Qantas Club? Looking for a gift for the newly-minted frequent flyer who doesn't already have lounge access?
The Red Roo is offering access to its domestic Qantas Clubs, with a package of four single-use passes on sale for $179 in the Qantas online shop.
A Qantas spokesperson confirmed to Australian Business Traveller that this is the first time that per-visit Qantas Club passes have been on sale.
You can use them at any of the 23 domestic Qantas Club locations, including the newly-opened Gold Coast lounge at Coolangatta, but you'll need to be quick: they're only available until the end of 2012.
You also get priority check-in for domestic flights in addition to the in-lounge benefits:
Note: special features do not actually include Qantas' spokesmodel Miranda Kerr.

Why does QF even bother offering this....it is insulting really!! They charge 45aud for drinks, mediocre food and free wifi in an overcrowded Pub? Even in Australian airport foodcourts this 45aud buys you a decent meal in a nicer environment (and nowadays most ppl have data plans on their phones or tablet).
Hi Guest, join in the discussion on Qantas Club passes now on sale through the end of 2012
