You don’t need to travel all the way to Doha to try Qatar Airways’ new Airbus A350, with the ambitious Gulf airline rostering the advanced jet onto Singapore flights from mid-year.
Following the A350’s debut on the Doha-Frankfurt route earlier this year, the next-gen jetliner will fly Singapore-Doha from June on QR938/939 – treating business travellers to the airline's latest business class seats in a 1-2-1 configuration, with an 80 inch fully flat bed and 17 inch HD inflight video screen.

This will makes Qatar the first airline to operate the A350 to Singapore and the Asia-Pacific.
Fellow Oneworld partner Cathay Pacific expects to take delivery of its first A350 in February 2016, while Finnair will extend its A350 network to Hong Kong from February 2016 and Singapore from May 2016.
But Qatar won’t stop with just one A350 service to Singapore.
A second A350 will be rostered onto Singapore-Doha QR944/945 in mid-July, followed by a third in mid-August on the new QR942/943 service to create a unique triple-daily A350 schedule.
This will open up an appealing new range of Oneworld-friendly options for corporate travellers who need to do business in Asia, with Qantas covering the Australia-Singapore leg and then any of Qatar’s flights out of Singapore to the UK or Europe via Doha.
