Adelaide is now home to a new tower of serviced apartments with the opening of the Quest King William South hotel.
The new King William Street property features 105 new studio, one and two bedroom apartments near the Adelaide Town Hall, the Supreme Court of South Australia, retail stores, restaurants, cafes and a number of parks and gardens.
Inside the serviced apartments you’ll find kitchen and laundry facilities, wireless Internet and desk-level power points for laptop work, while private balconies provide a nice spot to relax after a long day.
In-house guests can also charge dining expenses to their room from nearby restaurants, which gives travellers the option of going out for dinner but with all travel costs itemised on the one account.
“Recent figures show the number of interstate visitor nights spent in South Australia has jumped by almost 12 per cent during the past year,” said the Honourable South Australia Deputy Premier John Rau at the property’s grand opening.
Quest’s General Manager Brand Tony Gauci partly attributes that to “the planned expansion of the Adelaide Airport which will provide significant jobs while more than doubling annual passenger numbers over the next two decades.”
Adelaide’s Quest King William South is one of ten new Quest properties to open this financial year across Australia in a range of CBD, suburban and regional locations.
Brisbane picked up a new Quest Serviced Apartments property earlier in the month at Woolloongabba, with Melbourne Airport soon to follow.
Also on the list are new lodgings for Wellington, Townsville, Newcastle West, Kelvin Grove and Chermside (Brisbane), Toowoomba, Berrimah (NT) and Liverpool (NSW).
