Set to open later this year is the Sheraton Zhuhai Hotel in China under the Starwood umbrella.
Packing in 548 guest rooms, its situated on the Chinese Riviera with an opening date planned for November.
Conference delegates will find the hotel just opposite from the Zhuhai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, which comes packed with event space and a theatre and concert hall.
It’s a 50-minute drive from Zhuhai Jinwan Airport, with easy access to bridges that link mainland China to Macau and Hong Kong.
Spanning 19 floors, guests will enjoy free Internet access and use of the fitness club, while peckish travellers have several dining options.
Drinks and small nibbles can be had at the Lobby Lounge, while traditional Chinese cuisine will be served up at Yue restaurant.
Feast – an all-day buffet restaurant – serves up a variety of international cuisine, there’s ‘Someplace Else’ for standard pup fare, or simple grab-and-go sandwiches at Pantry.
Along with access from the airport and across the bridge network, the Jiuzhou Port with ferries to Hong Kong, Macau and Shenzhen is just 55 minutes away by car.
