Singapore Airlines partners with EVA Air for Taipei flights

IN BRIEF | Singapore Airlines is now running codeshare flights with Taiwan's EVA Air between Singapore and Taipei.

The airlines operate three daily Singapore-Taipei return flights each day – two under SQ's banner and one from EVA – but at different times, so travellers on both airlines will now have the choice of three services to better suit their timetable.

Here's how the three return flights compare:

Tickets for the codeshare services are now on sale through both airlines.

Of course, as Singapore Airlines and EVA Air are members of Star Alliance, passengers travelling on either airline can credit the miles towards their frequent flyer program of choice – SQ's KrisFlyer program or EVA's Infinity MileageLands scheme.

Interesting, when you consider that BR deploys its B77W on the TPE-SIN route making it the only airline plying the two cities with a fully flat business seat product.
