United Airlines takes new inflight safety video Down Under, worldwide
Not to be outdone by the song and dance of Virgin America’s latest safety video, United is rolling out a new safety film of its own.
Shot across a raft of United Airlines destinations, the video pays tribute to the kangaroos of Down Under with an oh-so-subtle "remove the pouch" instruction, much to the whimpering of the nearby kangaroo troop...
… whereas in downtown Manhattan, flight attendants cheekily show New York’s cabbies how to buckle up for safety:
Meanwhile in Japan, an origami version of the Boeing 787-9 – set to debut between Melbourne and Los Angeles – can seemingly be folded in mere seconds by the experts:
Whether heading to Sin City or anywhere else on the United map, it’s important to know the brace position and where to dash for the quickest exit…
… but even if you’re bound for the gorgeous Sicilian coast, smoking still isn’t allowed.
Straying from the typical safety video, United’s incorporates “creative elements to maintain the interest of even our most frequent flyers, flight after flight,” said the airline’s social media team.

This is nice and all, but unless United picks up its act and delivers a quality international product I'm not setting foot anywhere near it.

Given the events of the last 2 weeks, seeing photos of airline seats in green fields makes me sick.
But i'll get over it.
