    I agree the seat is certainly good but one thing I found on the A330 is the pull out tray table was not adequately supported given its size and weight, to the point it was a bit slanted towards the side away from the hinges. Hopefully they have fixed this on this seat?

  • SQ or VA-codeshare?

    I’m not sure how correct this is but when I tried booking Singapore Airlines premium economy flights as a VA codeshare, I was told by my travel agent that there is no VA codeshare for premium economy classes on SQ. Only business and economy have VA codeshares...apparently.

    I have platinum with Qantas at the moment but will not be able to reach 1200 status credits to retain platinum by the anniversary date. I do have a flight that spans the anniversary date though. While I won't be able to accrue enough status credits for the departing flight before the anniversary ...

It is not quite that academic as there is some leeway in choosing flights if they can be justified (like shorter layovers or direct flights etc.). Unfortunately, QF is just so much more expensive than VA ($2k more for PE to the US) and the fli...
