• Not "absolute rubbish", I have had this QSuite Guarantee extended to me on a flight earlier this year. Obviously your experience differs but that doesn't mean the guarantee offer is "absolute rubbish."

  • As very clearly stated in the last paragraph, yes. "However, note that the Qsuite Guarantee applies only to “QR-operated” flights."

  • Qantas has said the PJs will also be handed out at some domestic lounges, although there are no details on which lounges or when. Maybe try joining some of the Facebook Qantas frequent flyer groups in case somebody there posts details? Of course you'd still need to have a flight to get into the d...

  • So you're complaining about the price and "We now have 2 premium priced airlines" but at the same time you say "I realistically expected this pricing," make your mind up. Google Flights really helps to get your head around the options. Then I'd consider which airline gives me loyalty benefits, which has the better bu...

I agree with David's points above, a one-night stopover simply isn't worth it in this current environment. The old days, the pre-COVID days, absolutely it could be nice to break up the trip, stay at a hotel not too far from Changi and have dinner at that East Coast Lagoon food village. But these ...
