We often like to end the working week with a story plucked from the lighter side of the business travel world.
Cathay Pacific has obliged with this look into a day in the life of CX flight attendant Grace Hui.
Well, it's actually a day and a night, as we travel with Grace on the CX111 red-eye from Hong Kong to Sydney.
Part of Cathay's on-going series which follows some of the airline's staff through a typical day, the video provides a wonderful 'behind the scenes' insight into not only what a flight attendant like Grace does when she's not looking after you in-flight needs, but also the other aspects of her job which take place pre-flight at the airline's Cathay City HQ near Hong Kong International Airport.
If you're travelling this weekend, have a safe flight – and we'll see you next week with more news for business travellers and frequent flyers! You can also catch us on Twitter – we're @AusBT.

John & were taken aback by the size of her apartment, VERY big for HK (even if she lives close to CX City, as many of the staff do).

Yeah me too - she said it took her 20 minutes by MTR, which could mean anywhere from Lai King to Olympic. Would be very surprised if its near Kowloon station, as 2 bedders there can sell for upwards of HK$40 million.

Although very similar, there's just something about Cathay that has the edge on SIA. Obviously, just my opinion . . .

Have to agree with FrequentFlyer, CX's crew always seem more genuine, like they're actually happy to serve you.

sorry to drag up an old thread, just found out that CX crew in their first three years are given free housing near the airport, near Tuen Muen! This might explain the greating housing in the expensive HK!
