AusBT reported on possible route from Brisbane to Chicago. Wonder if that would happen as they ramp up the deliveries?

There are unlikely to be any new routes to the US without the US DOT approving the QF/AA JV.
Aircraft 7 and 8 are being used for the already announced HKG flights.

The next 6 firm orders don't start arriving until 2nd half of next year.

Aircraft 7 is used on the extra BNE-LAX frequencies (x3 weekly), taking over from the 744 on QF55/56. Aircraft 8 is for the BNE/MEL/SYD-HKG rotations.

For the six next year AJ has suggested that if they don’t get the AA joint venture and so be able to use Chicago as a hub they might go to Seattle and hub with Alaskan airlines from there.
