InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) will bring its Kimpton Hotels brand to Paris by 2020, opening a new 149-room hotel amidst the famous Paris Opéra district.
It’s set to become just the second location in Europe for the boutique chain after the Crowne Plaza Amsterdam City Centre hotel is renovated and rebadged in 2017, bringing 27 suites to the French capital among the other room types.
You’ll also find spa, fitness and meeting facilities, but you needn’t venture from your room to stay fit with yoga mats provided for all guests, along with complimentary tea and coffee to start your day.
Venture beyond, however, and you’ll also discover a hosted evening Wine Hour, complimentary bikes to explore the local area or walk to the 2,000-seat Palais Garnier opera house for an evening of top flight entertainment.
“This hotel will have one of the most coveted addresses in the city and is set to create unbelievable memories and experiences for guests - in the way that only Kimpton can,” suggests Angela Brav, IHG CEO Europe.
Following IHG’s acquisition of Kimpton Hotels in 2015, the property is expected to participate in the IHG Rewards Club loyalty program, allowing members to earn and redeem IHG Rewards points at the hotel.
