Korean Air is the latest airline to open a new lounge at Los Angeles' revamped Tom Bradley International Terminal, following the flagship Star Alliance lounge and ahead of the new Qantas Los Angeles Lounge due to open in early May.
The Gensler-designed lounge will be home to Korean Air's premium Prestige and First class passengers and Skypass frequent flyers, along with eligible travellers on other SkyTeam airlines, including SkyTeam Elite Plus-grade frequent flyers.
Located on the fifth floor of TBIT, around the corner from the new Qantas Los Angeles Lounge, the 305-seat lounge is almost two-thirds larger than the old lounge.
There's a balcony with views across the entire terminal, plus shower booths and four private rooms.

"...The lounge will open in two phases, with the first stage in April and completion in the second half of this year"

As at 20 March it was April (in fact, likely 'late April') but yesterday I was advised it would be early May.
