Afternoon All,

Does anybody know if QF are releasing any Classic Reward seats - hopefully business, but Economy may suffice, on the 787 flights between Perth and Melbourne. I have had a look and the Qantas site on multiple days throughout the year and nothing is showing up. I was hoping to try out the service on a small hop to see family before looking booking internationally.

Cheers

I think QF are keen to discourage people flying PER-MEL-only on the 787. Having said that, if you're really keen to check it out, you can catch it on a limited number of domestic flights (I think VH ZNC has arrived and now flying domestically).

It's alsmost identical to the A330 business suites too.

It flew this morning on the Melbourne to Perth leg as QF 775 this morning and is heading back as QF 772. Might be an opportunity to get on one of these flights over the next few weeks. the sooner the better as they will start using it on the MEL-LAX leg very soon.

I was looking yesterday at reward flights in J for just the Perth to London and return on QF9/10 and they seem to be non existent. Maybe because the flight originates from Melbourne they are all taken.

QF has no competition flying direct non-stop Perth to London so it has little reason to provide J classic award seats for that route.
