New hotels for Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Darwin, Sunshine Coast

Business travellers bound for Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide will be spoiled for hotel choices over the coming years with new Westin, Sheraton, Mantra, Rydges and Ibis Styles properties opening their doors.

Joining those are recently-renovated Signature Skyline rooms at the Swissôtel Sydney, a rebranding of Rydges Darwin Airport as a Novotel and a new Best Western Plus hotel on Queensland's Sunshine Coast.

Aloft Sydney in Pitt St

Four Points Sydney expansion - new tower, rooftop and exec lounge

Also likely to lose the Menzies Hotel this year as it gets replaced by the new Wynyard Place development. This was initially rumoured to include hotels, but I think is now just offices

SPG has removed Aloft Sydney from their website. Perhaps that has been canned?

Interesting. There was Aloft signage on the site when I went past a couple of wks ago (opposite Prime Hotel)
