AusBT has become a real 'go-to' website for me. I check it most days because there's always some useful story being covered or I am looking for information on a particular business class or lounge review or some frequent flyer news. And the newsletters are a great reminder of the latest stories too. So I'd like to thank David, Chris, Brandon and Sid for all their work throughout 2018 on a site which is amazingly still free despite all the articles and high-quality content. I hope you guys have a great Christmas and New Year and maybe even manage to have a break during the 'silly season'.
+1, thanks AusBT. I wish I had discovered this site sooner because I was sort of in the dark for a long time but thanks to your info I have taken advantage of double status credits deals to gain Platinum, sampled some amazing OneWorld lounges around the world and made some really good decisions about which airlines and aircraft to fly instead of just sticking with Qantas!
I will add my own wishes of the season to everybody at AusBT. I'm sure this is a dream job for them but all the same it's also a job and requires a lot of effort to keep this great resource going and always be on top of all the latest stories and often breaking them!
Agree. Happy Christmas to all. You’ve hinted at new developments in the New Year, so eager to see what they are. It’s a great site for many reasons, but one of the principle reasons is the (usually) constructive and sensible contribution from readers. Too many frequent flyer sites have descended into farce when is comes to reader contribution and comment. I hope whatever changes you make retain this uniqueness! And yes. I do envy you your jobs!
Happy Christmas AusBT team and here's to a wonderful, safe and prosperous 2019 for all!
You all do an amazing job and like Bob Burgess and others, I check out this site every single day because I never know what little gem of info I'm going to find.
I'll also add my best wishes to the editorial team - but also extend it to the wonderful group of readers, members and commentators who make this site the vibrant environment that it is.
Hope everyone has a great Christmas and New Year, anyone travelling during that time? I'm staying home here in Hong Kong, it's a great time of year here, but I am escaping before the Chinese New Year madness which in 2019 happens at the start of February, very early this time.
Hope everyone had a great Christmas and will enjoy New Year's Eve, even if they are flying. I actually think it'd be great to fly on Dec25 or Jan1, there wouldn't be that many people doing it surely, and the vibe could be great fun.
